Roadmap
FullRecall is being actively developed further, all features mentioned below are planned to be incorporated into version 1.x — i.e. upgrades for registered users will be free. There are no promises as to timelines nor whatever a feature will be incorporated eventually at all, this file just show the current plans related to FullRecall development and doesn't cover a more detailed to-do list about FullRecall which is maintained privately.
All future development will be done with effort to produce lightweight software, in the sense of high responsiveness, quick start, small binary size and memory footprint, and smooth work even with very big databases and slow/old computers.
If you are not a registered user, and would like to support the development, please consider registering.
Current priorities:
- Polishing things in Maemo version.
- Polishing things in Windows Mobile version
- Support for translations of interface
Other planned things:
- Optional transparency in network import/export, so one could use FullRecall without using a local disk — full transparency and work without touching local disk at all (not mentioning exe file itself) will have to wait, but just "auto-sync" should be available rather shortly.
- Spell-checker.
- A decent manual in PDF file.
Other, additional versions:
- Symbian version – planned.
- Universal version in Java – in consideration
- iPhone – unlikely
Other things that are waiting in the queue:
- Possibility to change part of text size (e.g. tags <big> and <small>)
- Configurable key-shortcuts—grades binds
- Improved Settings->Schedule: it should simulate state after reviews of items you have scheduled for today, tomorrow, etc.
- A dialog with Character-map (divided into categories: math, symbols, etc.) so that Unicode characters could be pasted into question/answer fields
- Option in the preferences to have FR autodelete or autokeep incoming duplicates (?)
- A feature that allows user to tell FR to automatically filter out and delete all of the duplicates in list of already imported words
- Clickable links
